How does the swipe deck decide what to show me?
By default, the deck mixes fresh tasks with ones you haven't engaged with in a while so nothing gets forgotten. Premium adds Smart Swipe Deck, which learns the times of day and categories you're most active in and reorders to put the right task on top at the right time.
Can I use AI step generation on the free tier?
Yes. AI step generation runs on-device via Apple Intelligence (iOS 26+) and is free for everyone — no monthly cap.

How do I cancel my subscription?
Open the Settings app on your device → tap your name at the top → Subscriptions → TOrDO Pro → Cancel Subscription. Cancellation stops the next renewal but you keep premium access until the end of your current period.
How do I restore a previous purchase?
Open TOrDO → Settings → tap Restore Purchases. This re-validates any active subscription tied to your Apple ID.
I lost my tasks after reinstalling the app.
Tasks are stored locally on the device by default. If you had iCloud Sync enabled before reinstalling, your tasks will reappear once iCloud finishes syncing. If you didn't have Sync on, local-only data can't be recovered after a delete + reinstall.
Does TOrDO collect my task data?
No. Your tasks, steps, and notes live on your device (and in your own iCloud if you enable Sync). We use TelemetryDeck for anonymous usage analytics — see our Privacy Policy for details.
The widget isn't updating.
iOS controls widget refresh frequency. Try locking and unlocking your phone, or removing and re-adding the widget. If it still doesn't update after a few minutes, email us with your device model and iOS version.
