Agreement to Terms
By downloading, installing, or using TOrDO ("the app"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the app.
Description of Service
TOrDO is a task management application designed to help users organize and complete their tasks through a swipe-based interface. The app offers both free and premium subscription tiers.
Accounts and Data
TOrDO does not require an account or sign-in. Your tasks are stored on your device. If you turn on Cloud Sync (a Premium feature), they are synchronized through your own iCloud account using Apple's CloudKit. Purchases are made with your Apple Account and managed by Apple.
TOrDO Premium
TOrDO Premium is optional. It is offered as a monthly or yearly auto-renewing subscription, or as a one-time lifetime purchase. Prices are shown in the app before you buy.
- Payment is charged to your Apple Account when you confirm the purchase.
- Subscriptions renew automatically at the same price and period unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the period ends.
- If a subscription includes a free trial, you are charged when the trial ends unless you cancel at least 24 hours before it ends. Free trials are available once per Apple Account; any unused portion of a trial is forfeited when you purchase a subscription.
- The lifetime purchase is a single, non-renewing payment.
- You can manage or cancel subscriptions in Settings > [your name] > Subscriptions on your device. Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription.
- Purchases can be restored on your devices from the paywall or from Settings in the app.
- Refunds are handled by Apple under its refund policies.
Free and Premium Features
The free version includes unlimited tasks, the swipe deck, the Today list, timers, reminders, widgets and on-device AI step suggestions (where Apple Intelligence is available), plus color themes you unlock by earning points.
Premium adds the Smart Swipe Deck, all themes instantly, Cloud Sync, task notes, the full Insights dashboard and the crowned app icon. Features may evolve over time; the in-app paywall lists what Premium currently includes.
Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the app for any illegal purpose
- Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the app
- Circumvent any access or usage restrictions
- Use the app in any way that could damage or impair it
Intellectual Property
The app, including its design, features, and content, is owned by TOrDO and protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, or distribute any part of the app without our written permission.
Your Content
You retain ownership of the tasks and content you create in the app. By using the app, you grant us permission to store and process your content solely for the purpose of providing the service.
Disclaimer of Warranties
THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND. WE DO NOT GUARANTEE THAT THE APP WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR FREE OF HARMFUL COMPONENTS.
Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE APP.
Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
Termination
We reserve the right to terminate or suspend your access to the app at any time, without notice, for conduct that we believe violates these terms or is harmful to other users or us.
Governing Law
These terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States, without regard to conflict of law principles.
Apple's Standard Terms
Your use of the app is also governed by Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement (Standard EULA). If these terms conflict with it, the Standard EULA controls with respect to Apple.
